Default Turbocharger boost tech advice

I have a C70 T5 2.3 COUPE 2001 with a 16T HPT, all standard and over the last 6 months ive noticed as im climbing up the revs around 2500/3000 rpm steady away no lead foot i hear my turbo is acting strange im getting a louder whooshing noise as if it sucking in mass air ,The performance is getting poorer The situation is it doesnt seem to be holding the boost pressure then releasing it and pulling away its slow at climbing upto high rpm .My escort turbo pins me more @145bhp. What could be failing that causes these kind of symtoms. There is No warning lights on, no smoke, no rattles.Could it be my intercooler pipes worn, wastegate actuator spring weak, any idears guys as im goin start to put on the gauges to find out what pressure i am running at

If they are Really soft they might be collapsing under boost as well.
Feel them good and make sure there is no holes in them.

So! ive just carried out some service work ive blown out the intercooler ive replaced all hoses with high pressure vacuum hoses, ive put on a new actuator as the old 1 i took off didnt have much resistance at all when i pulled the rod out the new 1 has 3 times more strength all small bore vac pipes are ok .Just been out 4 a test run and its exactly same it does pull alittle better but i would'nt buzz from it really Could this be the 1st sign of a wearing charger .I had an MOT yest and the immissons were 0.008 excellent results from CAT MAF and Lamda sensors so i can rule out fuel air probs ?????????????????? I just wish it would throw up the ECM light

If the gauge goes into positive pressure at all then the turbo is working. But there might be a leak or the turbo is going bad or is already bad.

Then maybe the turbo is seized. Remove the plastic pipe from the air box to the turbo and reach in and try to spin the turbo.

That is very strange. It must be a computer issue since no boost at all in gears 1 and 2.

C70 T5 COPUE 2.3L 2001 ME7.0 BOSCH ECU
1st gear holding at 3000rpm foot flat down to 6000rpm with 0 psi boost pressure straight into 2nd gear negative boost pressure unto 3500rpm vacuum at 20-25 inHg boost pressure then climbs upto 0 psi at 4500rpm keeping on the throttle to 6 grand into 3rd climbing between 3000-4000rpm i start to get positive boost pressure upto 8 psi @max rpm. Ive looked at the ECU NO fault codes stored ,also pipes ,hoses arnt a questions all brand new and secured with high pressure hydraulic hose clamps new actuator diafram no smoke from turbo or any in pipes I have also done a full vacuum system test by pressurising through the turbo i did find a minor leak @ the intercooler but repaired that.the only thinkl concerning me to this fault it the boost control selonoid situated side of air filter box but i would have thought a fault would have come up if malfuncting
