Default Turbocharger Boost Sensor 2002 S60 T5

My 2002 T5 S60 (135,000 miles) is giving two codes

0236 Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance
0237 Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low

If I give it moderate to heavy gas from a stop or low RPM's, the car severely stumbles. When the RPM's are up or if I gradually ease into the gas, it does not stumble as bad.

Anyone have any idea what items I should check first? Thanks

I would start by replacing your boost pressure sensor. On my 02 S60 2.4T (if I recall correctly) its on the intake piping between the inter-cooler and the throttle body. I had to replace mine at about 80,000 miles when it threw a CEL. I wasn't experiencing any drivability problems though.

Good luck!
