Hello members, I'm new here, this is my first post.
I want swap my car(S40 2000 1.9t) from automatic to manual transmission.
I've viewed many posts, on my car fits M56l transmission. Please answer, is S70/850's tranny the same?
If not what model's transmission can I fit on my car?

Would be hard to do if your in the US since all of our S40's were automatic

I'm in Georgia, east Europe. I found S70 manual transmission and if you know, would it fit on my car?

 

you'd be better off finding a S40 donor car with a manual transmission as you'd need the other working parts like pedals, shifter, console trim etc
