Suspension Issues
Hello all,
Let first start this off with the following updates, I have changed the following all within the last month (both sides).
1.) Inner Tie Rods
2.) Outer Tie Rods
3.) Sway Bar End Links
4.) Strut (full setup)
5.) Control Arms
The car hits large bumps or larger changes in pavement I am still getting a very hard knocking and clunking and can feel the bump. I do know that my sway bar bushings are shot but could that really be the culprit? Any help as to what this could be would be a huge help.
Thanks guys.

Interesting, didn't think the sway bar bushings could cause that much damage. What would you recommend, the Powerflex bushings or just use OEM? I am going to order them up today.
Thank you for the timely response.

poly bushings are much firmer and as such will pass through more road feel (ie vibrations etc). I'd say the biggest downside is that they will shrink in cold so if you are in a cold climate, you make actually have the knocking return in the winter. My two cents is unless you are looking to build a track ready car, go OEM and forget about the bushing for another 10 years or so. Also go OEM and not aftermarket with the end links.
My sway bar bushings actually broke so that the sway bar would hit the control arm over bumps. You could feel the metal to metal contact under your feet and it sounded terrible. Replacement OEM bushings were fine but the space needed to work is tight.
