How many miles do you have on your car? Does it grind while accelerating from a dead stop?

My does/did the same thing. I had an engine mount that was missing and had that fixed but it did not fix the problem. I had my CV axle checked out and it is getting replaced tomorrow. I will post after that to let you know more for sure.

Replacing the engine mounts might help w/the vibration. Just replaced my transmission mount and that helped a lot w/the grinding at low speeds - and high-speed vibration during acceleration. Hope that helps.

On another car (honda) I had replaced the axles with aftermarket ones because of the boots tearing open.
Well after a few weeks the car did the same exact thing, vibrating on acceleration.
I didn't know what was wrong, I took it to the stealer and they proceeded to try a bunch of different things. But it was still messed up.

So I decided to replace the axles with honda parts.
Problem cleared up and never came back.

Default vibration fixed

I had a new Right Front axle assembly put in today and it completely fixed the problem. The mechanic said that the boot had pulled away and that the vibration was being caused by the inner joint catching and vibrating. Sure enough he was right took it straight to the highway and no vibration. cost of the repairs here in texas was parts and labor $530 dollars. Hope that helps.
