got a 03' VW 1.8t with a K04 turbo that i want to swap on my newly acquired 07' S60 2.5t !!!! and just out of curiosity what type turbo is on the 2007 2.5t now..?

anyone know if it will work/ and what's involved???

I believe that your car has the Mitsubishi TD04HL-14T . I don't know if what your are looking to do is possible. But there are many guys that have swapped up to the T5 16t because its a direct swap. But that said no matter what Turbo you use a "Ecu Tune" will be the only way to get anything out of the added power. I have never heard of anyone using anything but the Mitsubishi Turbos that are made for the Volvo. Take a look here Volvo S60 2001-2010 Engine and Maintenance Parts.
