Hi All,

My defroster stopped working, the light on the switch is still comes on, and now the check stop lights is on. I checked the bulbs and fuses, and they are all good. A mechanic said I need to replace the Rear Electrical Module and quoted 700. Is this a necessary repair? Should I check anything else before thinking about spending 700? Thanks.

 

I would get a second opinion from a Volvo dealership

 

Please report back your result. Having the same issue with the defroster, though my stop lights work fine and there is no message saying otherwise. Thanks!
