I just recently purchased a 2012 volvo s60 and its fast and all but i was wondering what i could do to get some more power out of it?

 

I would keep an eye on IPD ,Viva proformance and Eurosports tuning all will have updated Mods for the 2011+ cars

If you looking for just Speed then keep and eye out for the Ecu tunes.The top company's are Rica(Viva,EST) Mte(IPD) and AutoTech(Elevate) are the best. GL and congrads on the NEw car. Installing a tune is a plug and Play set up.Nothing you cant do yourself in 2 mins most times.

 

I have an 04 s60 and i want more power also. Will a stock s60r exhaust give me anything? How bout cold air intake? Anything else?

 

What model of S60? Depending on the model an ECU upgrade from IPD could make a big enough difference in perf. That was the case with my 2004 s60 2.5T. After the IPD ECU upgrade the car was much more fun to drive, better torque and more HP's. It got me close to 30 more HP. Not a cheap upgrade but well worth it and very easy to do.

 

Any suggestions on air intakes or exhaust systems?

 

Yes save your $$.The way a Volvo is set up there is now way to add HP with out an ECU tune. The intake will give a turbo woosh sound like a blow off valve and the exhaust will deepen the sound but neither will add anymore than 1-2 HP to the car.If you want an intake make one from a cone filter and can look at this for a design of a heat shield. Eurosport Tuning: Ultra-Flo Air Intake System - 2.4T, 2.5T & T5 2001-2007. As for an exhaust go custom. Any local shop will be able to set you up with a great sounding system for less than the $600-$700 a prebuilt one cost.

 

Hello every one, I just got an 03 S60 AWD turbo and i'm looking to start my mods, I live in the bay area (California) and was looking into the IPD Soft loader (http://www.ipdusa.com/products/4669/...flash-tune)for flashing my ecu, I am a mechanic and wouldnt mind owning this unit, curious to see if there was a few people that would be intrested in having this done to there Volvos also if I got it (for a small cost) or versa if some one already has im willing to pay toi have them do mine, thanks
