So I brought my S60 in for an 82,500 mile service, and in past instances they give me a bottle of fuel treatment to add. This time, they gave me a bottle of oil treatment, and what has two thumbs and put about half into my gas tank before I realized it??? "This Guy!!" I called a few folks, and came to the decision to fill it with premium fuel and hope that it dilutes it enough. So far that has seemed to work as I have not noticed anything different about the way my car runs.
Any other suggestions/comments?

 

How big is the bottle?

You should be fine. Fill the tank and then fill it again at 3/4 or so. Keep doing that to increase the dilution .

 

About the size of a fuel injector cleaner bottle. I was thinking of adding a bottle of that at the next fillup to help as well.
