S60 Replacement T5 won’t start
Hi
my 2012 S60 T5 was running fine and when I started it to go home it was missing, low power and then smoke out the tail pipe. It locked up. I bought a running engine with 57000 miles on it from a junk yard.
Pulled the old engine. Put the turbo ( it didn’t come with one) the injectors and fuel rail from the old engine. New timing belt, water pump and tensioner.
the engine turns over but won’t start. It backfires and smells like gas but won’t start.
Rechecked the belt timing, checked compression and spark. It all seems to be there.
During all of this starting no codes get thrown.
Any thoughts on where to go next would be appreciated.
