Default S60D5 Option "Speed Dependent Power Steering" useless??!!

Just received my new S60D5.
Driving mainly to and in Germany I am used to drive distances at high cruise speed (180-200+Km, fully legal) at the German highways, like many others.

With my previous Volvo S60D5, steering at these speeds was much, much to light and not providing the essential “road feedback”.

Reason I insisted my new car should have much stiffer steering at such speeds.
Advised and convinced by the official Volvo dealer that the Volvo option “speed dependent power steering option” would precisely do that, I only decided for the new S60D5, in stead of German car.

However the high speed steering characteristics with this brand new Volvo S60D5 turns out to be as bad as with my previous Volvo S60D5, however that car did not have the option "speed dependent power steering option”.

Volvo Dealer and Netherlands Volvo Importer are sending me back and forth, not knowing what to do.

Does anyone have the same experience with this highly inadequate very light steering characteristics at these high-speeds, nevertheless the installed option “speed dependent power steering option” and aware of identical compliants, technical solutions or bulletins?

My R has this feature and is usless in the US. Only at 100mph + can you really notice it. I think the steering is to lite at normal speeds of 60-80mph.
