Default Should the Hazard button be illuminated?

I recently bought a 2007 S60 2.5T that seems in great condition. It definitely doesn’t look and feel like an 11 year old vehicle.

Right out of the gate it needed a water pump, so that cost me about $70 in parts and a Saturday afternoon for my brother-in-Law who is avery good mechanic (and Volvo enthusiast).

Today my girlfriend noticed Mem 1 wasn’t going back into position for her. I reprogrammed it and it seems to be working just fine. But now we both noticed the Hazard button seems partially illuminated while driving. We didn’t notice that before. Is that how it should be?

I think it should be illuminated while driving, and flashing when engaged.
