Default Trouble Starting needs gas

More and more lately my 2004 S60 2.5 Turbo (50k miles) is having trouble starting. It will take between 2-6 seconds of cranking sometimes until I press the accelerator.

I've done some research on Google but most people talk about surging issues. A few have recommended spark plugs which seem early at only 50k miles. Anyone have any ideas on this?

Thanks for the help!

I change my plugs every 20,000miles.

Hum.....Try cleaning the throttle body, and I also heard a "bad" Fuel Pressure Regulator can cause long crank starts.\

Wait for Tech to give you some knowledge!

Do you smell gas by the passenger side rear of the car?
