Window tinting
Any recommendations or precautions on tinting? I've heard that the metallic particles can interfere with the antenna on the rear window. I also heard that the Sun Tek brand is carbon based so it wont interfere but is more expensive. Thoughts?
Oh and I found a highly respected shop for $250 per car. Volvo and an Acura RSX)

1. See if your state has laws on how much you can tint. Don't want to get it done and then get stopped and have to get it removed.
2. Don't do it yourself. I've never seen a DIY that didn't end up bubbling.
3. Never heard of radio interference. I've had 4 or 5 cars tinted and never had a problem.
4. Don't know where you're located but the shop that has done all my cars, and I've never had a problem with their product or installation, only charge $155. Shop around for a better deal.
