hey guys im thinking about buying a precut window tint kit online for my s70. I'd consider myself reasonably skilled do you think my dad and i could do it all ourselves? also, to do the rear windshield do i need to do anything different from the other windows like heat shrink, etc?

Unless you have done it many times before it isn't something for the regular person to do, IMO. You see a lot of people do it themselves and then you see the results and it is bubbling and just looks awful.

While a precut kit and your own time is going to be cheaper then having someone do it for you... The pros are going to do it right and it is going to last.

$185 is about what I paid to have my s70 done. And it looks great!

 

Heat shrink gun would help on the back window. I suggest cutting the rear piece into strips. I think I put other remarks in the general section as well.
