im looking at my first car at my familys local mechanic, they have the car in the title, black, with spoiler 3500$ only thing is that it has 190k miles which pushes my mom away from it. is this car worth buying? even though i will have to put some money into it?

 

My cousin has a '99 T5 with 195,000 on it and it runs like new. And his needs work. If you are willing to put a little work into it, you should have absolutely no problem. To me, it's totally worth buying, especially if it's a T5. Best FWD car ever.
