I have been looking for weeks now for the latch that holds my 98 s70 gas door closed. The door is still in great condition and I don't need a new hinge. Any idea were I could get the little plastic black piece that goes in the upper right hand corner to keep the door shut?

Odds are, you'll have to order a new gas door or somehow make something yourself.

 

Yeah that's what I have figured. I might make something myself for the time being and then order a new door.

 

I foung the black plastic thing, it's a fuel flap lock catch and there is one on ebay motors UK

Found the plastic gas door clip that keeps the door shut at FCP.
