How do I replace the gearshift indicator?

I have a 1998 S70. The gearshift indicator has shifted off to the side and is no longer visible. I know that I need to remove the cover to see what part broke but I am not sure how to do this. If anyone can tell me how to do this that would be great. Thanks.

You need to remove the Center console.
To do so open the Arm rest. remove the cover in the bottom.Then slide the cover for the e-brake handle towards the seat and remove. Remove the 2 screws and lift up the back and slide it out.

Then you will be able to remove the cover ane see what you need.
