Default Pulling/Dropping Engine & Transmission as a Unit?

I have found a few "Deals" on Volvo parts at a local "Pull A Part" salvage yard and was wondering if: In a 1998 Volvo V70 T5, can the motor be removed as a unit, rather than seperate?
I have a couple of good sub-frames that can be used as a "core charge", if the unit can more easily be removed from the bottom.
This way, I assume that it would be less time consuming and I could also get some suspension pieces...., too, it would be a lot easier to slide it on and off of my tilt trailer.
Should you happen to be in Central Alabama, at the time of this planned fiasco, I'll be more than glad to have you come along to assist [ verbally and/or physically ] and we might even partake in a good Southern BBQ meal afterwards. Premature thanks for any/all comments/suggestions.

I believe it will come out easier with the tranny attached. However, I think it comes out the top easier than the bottom.
