Pete again, still adding symptoms to wierd S70 cutting out while going down the road when all I did was try to adj. power seat. The motor that engages the starter is turning over good but not engaging starter. Not sure why this might have made engine cut out, or do or did I have couple problems at same time. Thanks Pete

 

You're saying you can hear the starter running but the engine is not turning over? if tha tis the case, replace the starter. The starter solenoid is not engaging.

 

Do you have a CEL or any codes?
