Hey all,

Working on a '98 S70. The clamp lever that clamps the adjustable steering column is broken. Got the new lever from the dealer but now struggling to install the new lever.

Can this lever be installed w/o pulling the dash? I thought the lower dash panel just below the steering wheel was separate from the dash but now it appears not. I am able to pull it out of the way somewhat but not enough to get the new level on; is there a trick or does the dash have to come out for this simple repair?
