Default Brembo vs Nordic

Brembo VS Nordic is there a big difference in quality? I saw FCP Groton sells both quite a bit of a difference in price. Im thinking of ordering the Brembo, but I wondered if I'm just paying for the name & that Nordic may be just as good or maybe what the factory may have used. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Im going to order my rotors on monday & just wanted to make sure that my choice to go with Brembo wasn't a choice just based on a name.

if it makes you feel any better, I have brembo blanks on the s80 and brembo sport slotted rotors on the accord and they are absolutely fantastic all around... trust me, you are not paying for name.. its true quality products...

what pads you going to use on the new rotors?>

Ok cool I guess then the choice is Brembo then onto quality pads hopefully non squeal ones I hate sounding like a train pulling into the station or a bus stoppping. I feel luxury cars shouldn't queak, although these NYC streeets make everything rattle & squeak. Such a big city with the resources to fix things. but somewhere there is somebody who's pockets are lined with money that was meant for the cities infrastructure, between the ticketing & towing & high taxes someones making off like a bandit. but thats for another forum not this one.lol

I just picked up my Volvo from a friend who put the brakes for me (I did not had time to do it as I was working on my other car). Brembo rotors and Akebono Euro pads - front and back. Braking is good and very quiet. I haven't heard a single squeak for the few miles I drove it back. They are more expensive but highly recommended.

I got everything from FCP Groton. The only thing is that it was cheaper to get the parts separately than as a kit (which they sell too). You can also scour internet for 10% off coupon.
