Fan running after car off

S80 98k hear fan from under hood when car has stopped. Is this normal?

It is normal for the fan to run after shutting the car off. It will continue until the temp lowers.
Also keep in mind that your interior fan will mysteriously run about 20-40 minutes after the car is off also. Its all normal operational procedures.
