RE: Installing an amp in a S80
this is fairly easy...I have a 2001 s80 t6....
1st - fold down the rear seats.
2nd-remove all the carpeting
3rd- near the rear seats on the left and right sides there shud be a set of wires held together on each side. Look for 2 gray wires(those were wrapped with a bunch of orange wires, and they are the only two gray ones there) , those shud be your speaker wire. take two wires, splice into them. so there shud be one wires coming off of one of the gray wires. do the same to the other side. connect it to the box which converts the wires into rca.
4th-ground the amp, ull see two bolts just behind the folded seats, use those to ground the amp. Hook the power into it
5th- there shud be a remote base controll, when u open ur trunk to the left shud be another set of wires.. Have to find the speaker wire and splice into that,
6th-hook everythin up, and u shud be good to goo!
