Default Strange Sound from Radio Area

When I first get in the car to start it after it has sit all night or for awhile I hear a sound coming from what seems to be the radio area. It sounds like something is still running. Kind of like a similar sound a PC fan makes. It hasn't seemed to effect the battery any but I was wondering if any of you knew what this was. It's like something is not shutting off or comes on after the key is removed? I understand it is hard to diagonose a sound without actually hearing it. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appriciated. If needed I can probably record the sound and post it somewhere with a link in this thread to better understand what I am trying to say.

Thanks,

Cameron

It almost sounds as if a small electric motor is still running? Any suggestions? Ever heard of this before? I couldn't find anything when searching the forum.

Sounds like it might be the in car temp sensor for the climate control.

Thank you, I will call the dealer and check pricing on one and hopefully replace it.

Some are just louder than others.
There might not be anything wrong with it at all.
Also if you can carefully try blowing into it with compressed air to try to clean it. That might quiet it down some.

Cool, thanks for the help once again!! I assume this module is located under the gearshift panel or in around the radio bezel area? Can you give me a idea of what it looks like before I go blowing the whole darn thing with compressed air...lol.

Thanks,

Cameron

You will see a little horizontal grate looking thing. That is the intake hole for the fan. If you look closely in there you should see the fan.
