Hi bros. Well I lost my password and the recovery system didnt work so I had to make this new account to post this question.
I have a 1998 V40 in Sweden and its just under freezing here.
This morning I tried to open the car with the remote and my wifes remote and it didnt work. Nothing happened. Then I tried my key and it does not turn in either door. It goes in fine but does not turn left or right. And the trunk does not work either. So basically I am locked out and dont know how to get in the car. The car battery has been a bit low lately but I thought I could at least use the key to manually open the door. I actually dont know that in the last year I have never used the key to open the doors. Any ideas please?
