Hi all, I have a 2005 V50 2.0 d, Recently I have been losing gears 2,4 and 6. I have tracked this down to the outer cable becoming detached from the gearbox. ( The inner cable is still connected) Once the outer cable is re-situated, the gears work fine. But it will come out again after a while.
Q, Do I need to replace the cable or am I missing some sort of clip to keep the cable end in place. Has anyone had a similar problem and what did you do?
