engine doesnt respond
2001 v70 t5,strange problem.car starts fine put car in gear and give it gas nothing happens,as in RPM's stay the same,put car in park and give it gas same thing RPM's dont respond.shut car off and restart,everything is fine..
any ideas where to even start looking

this has happened twice so far,two days apart.Also my instrument panel is starting to act up,it shows a temp of 25 deg when its 80deg.gas gauge never goes above half.I don't know if this has any bearing on throttle issue.
