I have a 2010 XC60 T6 AWD. I passed the 60k mark and now I'm at 66,300 miles. I heard a ticking sound a few days ago and the Volvo mechanic said it "might" be the AC compressor, or the pulley or just a belt.

My first question is if anyone has had AC issues so early in the car's so called life.

Second question is whether or not anyone bought and benefited from having a third party extended warranty. If, who did you use? Who would you recommend?
