Default Replaced CV Axles and now tranny slips and leaks?

I took my car to a friends shop and had them install new CV axles and now the tranny slips and will roll out of the driveway when in park. Not good. I took it to a Jiffy lube and had them do a transmission flush and it didn't help, fluid was brown and smally though. It does leak fluid now also. Any help to sort this out would be appreciated!
It's a 99 V70 XC awd with 116,000 highway miles.

Did they put the wrong axles in?

If the car is rolling when in park something it wrong with one of the axles or tranny. But if it didn't happen till after the new axles I will bet the axles are wrong.

I bought the axles off ebay, Couldn't find them locally anywhere. They were ordered correctly. I will check tomorrow. Why would that cause the transmission to slip? It shifts weird and everything now?

Thanks

Maybe the slipping was because it was to low on tranny fluid. Or the splines were wrong and the axle was spinning in the hub.

Did the new axles look just like the old ones?

I will check it out tomorrow. Back to the shop. I thought they messed up something doing the install. Maybe they are wrong and fluid/pressure is excaping through the axles.

Check to see what fluid Jiffy Lube put in the tranny. If it is the wrong fluid, it will cause the tranny to act weird, or not work at all. I'd go with Tech on the possibility of wrong axle shafts

Took the car back to my buddies shop that did the axle install. The found a seal leaking I guess where they pulled out one of the axles. Fixed! No charge, Works perfect, no more leaks, can park on a hill again, happy as hell. No I have to work out my last issue, engine light on and motor runs a little weak. Thanks for your help, without it I would have run it to a transmission shop and who knows what they would have charged me. Ebay axles were $213 shipped and work fine.

Default Well now the aftermarket axles are bad! Right side

One month old, I have traveled alot about 5000 highway miles. The right side axle is clicking along and I hope I can make it home. I did reorder another axle and hopefully it will be there midweek. They came with a lifetime warranty so I will give that a test also plus end up with a spare. Any similar experiences with aftermarket axles?
