2004 XC70 Automatic

Experiencing some brief transmission "slipping" or "overlap" with normal acceleration from a stop after highway travel. Most common when it shifts from 1st to 2nd gear when leaving a toll booth. No TSBs for 2004 XC70 but, in earlier models Volvo calls it "shift flare". Any suggestions?

 

Does the car have the latest software?

 

I've got an '02 XC70 thats looking like there are possible transmission issues. It just doesn't ride as smoothly as it used to...upon accleration and decel there is definite hesitation, and sometimes the engine will "rev" when trying to shift. Can anyone tell me if this is serious?
