Default XC70 vibration/trans issue question

Hi, thanks for the help in advance.

I have a 98 xc70 with 180k, auto. The car started to shutter when turning sharp, and has progressively gotten worse to where it shutters around almost any turn and when accelerating. It is much worse at slow speeds and sharper turns. It is very hard to tell but it acts as if the car was stuck in AWD and the front tires are scrubbing when I turn.

So I have done the following:
New front powerslot rotors, PBR pads, calipers and flex lines (needed them anyway)
Yokohama tires (4)
Front lower control arms
Allignment

There are no ripped CV boots and no CV clicking, I am trying to tell if a motor mount has colapsed, but I cannot see a bad one and have replaced the top mount.

One rear Nivomat shock is bad, and I have some coming, but that can't be causing this (assumption. If I were to drive in a circle in a dry parking lot, you would think a wheel was loose, the car was stuck in AWD or there was a CV about to totally fail.

So then while I was away this weekend, the wife had it leave her stranded. Winter button on trans selector is blinking, and the up shift arrow is blinking. She said it just didn't go, engine didn't rev (I think, but lets not go into that conversation). I just got back and drove it. Shutter still there, blinking arrow still blinking, seems to shift about the same, but just went a mile.

Any thoughts?
Thanks again,
Trevor

OK, update. 1 QT of ATF solved the transmission light, but the shutter is still present. Once again, it shakes throughout the whole car when turning, the tighter the turn, the more intense the vibration. More noticeable turning to the left. Feels and sounds like driving in 4wd on dry pavement. Turning trac off makes no difference. No ripped CV boots, engine hardly moves when in drive/brake applied and throttled to check motor mounts. Do the viscous couplers (think that's what it is) in the drive shaft go bad?
Thanks

OK, going to remove rear driveshaft to see if vibration goes away.

Could it be that an inner cv is bad?

OK, just hitch hiked home. Removed rear driveshaft and the vibration is GONE!!!! Center u-joint was bound right up, yessir. Along the way, the trans up-arrow came back on, and I lost drive on the road. Nursed it back to the shop after several stop/restarts. So I am going to try to scan the codes today and see what comes up. Family shop has a Launch scanner with the volvo specific plug, so we will see. Thanks for the CV thought, that was one of my considerations too, especially if there was a collapsed motor mount.

So, I see used driveshafts on Ebay are around $350 or so, and my local scrapyard has one.

Trans Code 232 comes up for me, vehicle speed sensor signal, as I grind to a halt on the side of the road.

I am also getting transmission codes for mismatched 3 and 4th gear ratio. So, looking for a used XC70 transmission, I guess. Any thoughts?
