I just picked up used (53k mi) 2017 XC90. Love it.

The coin slot drawer was stuck in the open position and eventually, I released it and just kept it closed. Now it opens/closes beautifully but I've noticed I'm hearing a coin or a bead bounce back and forth in the center console and I think it's coming from that area but it also just generally sounds like it's around the shifter **** area too.

Dealer quoted me 2 hrs of work $400 to open it up and look at it which I think is ridiculous. Has anyone had an issue like this or recommendations on how to open/close the console area safely? I'm relatively handy but not an expert lol and couldn't find any videos/guides on YouTube or Google.

Did anyone have any luck getting the quarter out of the middle console? I took off both side panels but I cannot access the area where the coin is located. Took it to the dealership and they quoted me $900 to get the coin out!!!! That's ridiculous. If someone was able to get a coin out of a volvo xc90 2019 please help me out!!!! I'm going crazy listening to that coin roll all over every time I turn a corner.
