Default Trip odometer reset button

I'm currently replacing odometer gears in my 91 240 instrument cluster. My cluster had a broken trip odometer reset button. When I took cluster out. The button was not connected to the cluster. Does anyone have photos are a diagram showing how the button is connected to cluster. I believe I may be missing parts. The part # is 1384775

The black part is half of the reset button. The other half that is missing is the part you press on the cluster when reseting odometer (it broke off). I believe the black part in picture goes over brass looking part somehow and attaches to silver rod also.

that picture is way too blurry and out of focus to see what you're talking about.

It just clips on to the metal bar. What you have is that half as far as I can see--the other half is broken off.
