Hi everyone,thanks for the great forum. looking for some help with my 850. first of all the engine check light has been on for awhile but it still ran good until a couple of days ago when it did not start.so i came on here and started reading about what it could be. it cranks over fine but no fire. it has 105000 miles on it . do i need the dealer to take a look at it? thanks for your help....

 

i'm having same problem with my 97 850 T5 so if by any chance u figure it out before i do, let me know wat u did to fix it, or if i can figure my problem out i'll let u know so we can both kind of have a look at eachothers to see wat we've missed!

 

First to check for is fuel,spark,injector pulse. The branch out from there.

 

Agreed, get answers on those key ingredients.

Does that mean everthing checked good?

 

Does NO FIRE mean you already checked for spark? Can you hear the fuel pump when you try to start it?
