I'm about to replace the front cam seals on my 95 850T and came across a parts numbering dilemma. I have a Victor Reinz brand cam seal PN 81-25582-00 which on some web sites suggest its compatible to a very broad range of Volvos yet on part vendor sites suggest its not . the box says the seal is 35x47x7 (mm?) and I noted other brands suggest 35x47x6 is correct... Anybody have a good way to cross reference part numbers here?

 

Just go to FCPEuro or IPDUSA and look it up. I dont think anyone is going to know the dimensions, these are super cheap...like less than $10, just go get another one if your concerned about it.

 

called FCP and they said the part was compatible and would update their catalog.
