Default RE: New Volvo Owner, Lots of Questions!

hey guys rater then start a new thread just thought i would ask it here.

"how much is an 850R really worth?"

I mean i know kbb's numbers... But really, are R's really rare enough to have a diffrent price? obviously a car is worth what someone else will pay, but assuming you found a car with little to no known problems, with matching miles to year, and clean title. how do you figure price? It took me almost four months to track down a good R, now granted I cant get my money back, im trying to assure myself i made a good deal. I guess im going through my typical "buyers remorse" I replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter....now it runs like a dream. Just wondering...

My car:

1996 850R
Red/black interior
17" pegs/ new tires
Paint =goodblemishes, dings and dents. not showroom, but not poor.
All power options work
105k on the clock.
Nomajorproblems or fualts

how much would you guys say its worth?

With the pegs and new tires I would say in the ballpark of $7500 +/- $500. That's just off the top of my head without even looking at KBB. I just paid around $5500 for my yellow T5R with 137K on it. It's in real good condition, but had crappy wheels with snow tires on them when I bought it. Now has nice tires and 17" Volans off my 97 850 R. I think I got a great deal and would expect about $8,000 for it if I was willing to sell with the Volans and tires. The yellow ones are very rare. You should have started a new thread for this.
