Anyone know where to get a carbon fiber spark plug cover like this one? http://volvospeed.com/Pics/repairpic...park_plugs.jpg

EST sells a carbon fiber cover, and I think carbonfiberwerks.com does too.

I think eurosport tuning does but they are usually back ordered by like 4 to 5 months.

I think unless you have done every other mod possible to your car, money can be used more wisely elsewhere, rather then spending it on a spark plug cover.

Yea I totally agree. I was just curious as to how much they would cost, cuz when I googled it after seeing the pic I couldn't find a link anywhere. Next week I'm getting all the tools I'll need for the tune-up as well as the parts and I'm going to a mechanic buddie's house to change the plugs, cap, and rotor. Should I replace the wires or keep them if they look good? And where can I find a write-up on a timing belt change?

Yea way too much, lol. I can always just paint that right? What about the silver plate that runs across the front of the engine? It looks like it has wires going thru it, but can that be taken off easily? What is it, lol?

Obviously it can be taken off, but if you just want to paint it, easier to just tape off around it and paint it, that's what I did. And yes the valve cover can be painted, just make sure to clean everything really good because things get oily under the hood, and paint doesn't get along with oil.

They're not that bad, my dad does all of our timing belt changes, and if everything is in check and does just the belt, he can do it in like a half hour, however, you technically should be replacing everything with each change.
