Mine is a perrin right now it sounds about as loud as the CBV. It might get a hair louder with the block off plate on.

Hopefully tomorrow night. I got the sawzaw from my Dad so I can cut off the tow hook. I have to move the power steering reservoir line over a tad for the intercooler piping to fit. But tonight I figured out how the hot side goes, I have the cold side just about figured out too. I made an intake pipe so I can get rid of the factory TB hose. Tomorrow night I should at least get it mounted, I figured out where it's going and I just need to drill the holes for it.

I also just started my fieldwork class for my degree, which is a 8-4 class so my time is limited until Friday.

Did the heater core firewall pass through tonight. What a PITA. FMIC and most of the piping is done as well. I'll have pictures up this weekend sometime.

It's alive! Still has a good lifter tick to it, at least that's all it better be. And the backside of the engine smokes when it gets hot, but I'm pretty sure that's fluids burning off of it that leaked onto it. We'll see, hopefully she starts to sound a little better as I keep running it.

Oh, and the transmission arrow is on even though I have the canadian t5m ecu in there, is that because I haven't taken out the auto trans ecu yet?

Yes sounds like it might be lifter noise. Drive it some and you should be fine.

Yes pull the tranny module out.

Cool. I went forward and backward in my stall. It felt weird, but a good weird.

Except now I have to order the ball seat for the shifter because it sits kinda loose in shifter box. Oh well, pulling the center console takes like what? 15 mins.

15G for now. And as soon as I get a wideband and TurboTuner, I have a young 19T that will be going on.

I have to shorten the cold side a bit because the fog light doesn't fit with the current configurations.

how far the intercooler hangs below the bumper support. It's just about level with the radiator, so it shouldn't pop out below the bumper at all.

It is, I had to cut away a good amount to make it fit, but once you have all of the piping on there, it really holds firm. This one is 9" tall.

I think I might go a little smaller. If it is that tight it might not fit on mine. The passenger side by the bumper support is bent on my car from the PO.
SO I think I will have to go a little smaller to make it all work.
