Default Took the 01 XC70 to the dealer

My reader was getting the ECM-9150 which indicate the ETM. From several post, I was told this should be covered under warranty, so I brought it in.

I took it in a 0700 and waited until 1400 to call for an update. They said the tech was still looking at it and needed to call Volvo to further diagnose the problem and wouldn't know anything until tomorrow. Seems kinda odd they wouldn't know what to do since they extended the warranty for the ETM.

I guess I'm a little anxious they will try and tell me it isn't the ETM and not covered. What should I do if they did?

Well, the dealer called and said it was covered and had it fixed already. I'm happy for once.

Once I hit 100k, the 2 biggest 'gotchas' that I researched before I bought the car - Xmission/ETM lit up my dash. The xmission seems fixed for now after flushing and the ETM was fixed under warrranty....I feel like I dodged 2 expensive bullets.

I don't feel so bad about the little things now
- dealer says rear rotor/pads need to be replaced
- radiator hose under reservoir leaking [found doing timing belt]
- radio changing channels on it own...usually up 1 station
- engine mount center/front/bottom leaking
- PS CV joint leaking grease....not torn though
- spun bearing on Angle gear.....ok this one is expensive
