Yea I totally agree. I was just curious as to how much they would cost, cuz when I googled it after seeing the pic I couldn't find a link anywhere. Next week I'm getting all the tools I'll need for the tune-up as well as the parts and I'm going to a mechanic buddie's house to change the plugs, cap, and rotor. Should I replace the wires or keep them if they look good? And where can I find a write-up on a timing belt change?

Obviously it can be taken off, but if you just want to paint it, easier to just tape off around it and paint it, that's what I did. And yes the valve cover can be painted, just make sure to clean everything really good because things get oily under the hood, and paint doesn't get along with oil.
